The Roadblock: How to fix your Hubspot Template Troubles

Every HubSpot user has had a need for a template of some kind at one point or another. How do you know what to choose? Why are they so expensive? What if you're just testing things out? Why aren't there any free HubSpot templates in the marketplace?

If you're new to HubSpot, or are trying to develop a new campaign, you are more than likely experiencing what we call...

The Road Block

You're so excited about the platform! Yes it's very overwhelming when you start, but you're pumped to get going, aren't you? The training is wrapping up and all you can think about is this whole inbound thing and whether or not it's going to deliver.

However you're engaged in content, how to create your first campaign, how to develop buyer personas, etc.  When you start to actually produce your campaign, you're stuck looking at the templates that are built into your portal.

Well... that's kind of a let down, is it not?  There's not a lot to choose from, and they are pretty boring.

Hence, the Road Block.  The standard templates that come loaded in your portal might not be the most stylish or the most appropriate for telling the story of your business.

You're not a developer, so you don't know how to fix this. Or, you do have developers on staff but don't have time to build your own templates because you need to focus on getting your messaging right and getting people to convert.

Hey, we've been there too!

The Solution

We recognized there was a major flaw as a user without access to some free resources to help drive user engagement from the beginning, and really jumpstart a campaign. In doing so, you were almost required to invest hundreds or even thousands of dollars in the Template Marketplace for a decent product to work with.

It's not that the marketplace is bad by any means - it's just a tough situation to invest in the platform only to feel like you need to invest even more right away.

So, we decided to do something about it.

We developed a series of free hubspot templates that are completely focused on usability.  How easy is it to create and edit pages with this template? How easy is it for your visitors to move throughout these pages?

Let's dive into each one, shall we?

Prelude

Prelude Free HubSpot Template

Prelude is a new take on a traditional landing page style, designed around a standard "form right" approach. This kind of form works tremendously well for companies who are offering free downloadable products (eBooks, checklists, how-to guides, etc.).

Though it may look simple, there are a ton of great features that make this template a fun and interactive tool for building out your conversion funnel.

Built into the modules is a series of very easy-to-use tools that allow you to completely customize the look and feel of this template.

The image above shows the "site color picker," which changes the primary color referenced on the page.

If your company's branding is centered on green, for example, simply select the color of your choice in the site color picker to make the banner image, bullet points, and form button match your company's style. HubSpot Templates In the Marketplace For Free

This templates utilizes Font Awesome icon capabilities.  The template is pre-built with a series of icons in the drop down menus, or you can simply add your own using the form field to insert.
