EasyMovie is a knowledge sharing platform that empowers enterprise businesses to create better business outcomes through employee generated video content. With offices in New York and Paris - and more on the way - they had aggressive growth goals and knew their marketing and website needed to be recalibrated.

The Challenge

EasyMovie came to Web Canopy Studio with a unique set of challenges including international expansion from France to the U.S. market, refocusing the way they talked about their video content platform and a shift in product positioning. While the platform had found popularity with internal enterprise teams who enjoyed the benefits of internally produced video content, EasyMovie had a much broader vision and purpose. The greater mission was to help enterprise companies tap into the vast and often hidden knowledge of their employees through a simple knowledge sharing process.

 

To launch EasyMovie in the U.S. they knew they needed to go to market with a clear message about how organizations can use their platform to discover and share internal knowledge to enjoy the benefits of knowledge sharing. Their existing website didn’t enlighten prospects to the true benefits of their video content platform and they weren’t converting as many visitors into leads as they aimed for. With their home office based in France, they also needed to implement a multi-language solution for their website to display the correct language on their site based on the browser language of the user.

The Solution

To get clear on the best path, the Web Canopy team flew to NYC for a 3-day workshop to create a buyer persona, research the buyer’s journey, and map out an inbound strategy to include buyers at every phase of the flywheel. By getting to know the pains and challenges of their buyers in combination with keyword research, we designed a plan to attract prospects to the EasyMovie website through helpful content. Our teams were able to quickly expand content offerings on their website visitors at the awareness, consideration, and decision-making stages.

Attracting The right audience

For the launch of the website, we mapped out a brand new pillar strategy to focus on attracting a brand new audience: "The Complete Guide to Enterprise Knowledge Sharing."

Creating Sales Opportunities

The new site launch we propelled forward by several MasterClass campaigns which brought their existing contacts back to the freshly minted site as well as attracted new visitors.

These MasterClass campaigns generated more than 500 registrations, which has brought in new leads, re-engaged existing ones, and led to productive sales conversations.

 

 

Custom language solution

Because EasyMovie was operating in both the US and France, we built a custom-coded solution that serves up the correct language based on the viewer's IP address, but also allows the EasyMovie team to access either language instantaneously.

Optimized for conversion

EasyMovie came to Web Canopy Studio with an existing site that wasn't converting visitors into leads, so a major of our website strategy was to create beautiful, optimized landing pages that are designed for conversion.

From the moment the site launched, EasyMovie has used landing pages with premium content offers to convert site visitors.

The Results

Even with a brand new website built on HubSpot CMS and an arsenal of marketing tools at our disposal, we knew that our work was just getting started. We worked with EasyMovie to leverage the website and a solid inbound strategy to drive the business forward. 

 

Surging inbound leads

Inbound leads (excluding offline sources) is up 65% since launching the site (even despite the COVID-19 pandemic!) due to increased organic traffic, new premium content offers, and an uptick in ad campaigns.
